ABC was a Textile Company, originally based near Manchester in the United Kingdom. In 2005 production was transferred to ATL (Akosombo Textiles Ltd) which is situated in Ghana, where, in 2018 it was taken over by the Ghanaian government.

In Manchester we printed innovative designs, using a wax-resist process, where we supplied the African market for nearly 100 years. During this time, the ABC brand had established itself as the specialist in this market, becoming synonymous with the best quality designs at the most affordable prices.

The wax-resist printing process ensures that no two yards of cloth are ever the same and it is this unique quality gave the ABC brand a prominent position in the West African market.
